The CONCERTO Project has been fortunate to feature pianists and orchestral musicians of the highest caliber. As well, this particular performance features a high-definition livestream that will introduce many friends and followers to these great piano masterworks. The recorded material will not only be an indispensable asset to the promotion of my career in the future but will also contribute to the limited availability of recordings of these particular arrangements chosen for this program.

The following SUPERFANS have made this event possible and have made a world of difference to me through their gracious financial support.

Brad & Denise Becker

Corey & Shelly Becker

Tom & Mary Steffek Blaske

CONCERTO

This is just the beginning of a program which is scheduled to last for the next several years. CONCERTO grew from a simple idea to give back to the body of classical music recordings which my entire career has grown out of. I fell in love with classical music listening to CDs from the Fargo Public Library at age 15 (before I moved to Grand Forks from 2013-2018). Now, I’m on a mission to record a CD of my own to put in the Fargo Public Library (and other libraries, too) for some other youngster to stumble on.

The CDs I cherished the most were always of the great piano concerti, pieces for piano soloist with full orchestra. The concerto which gripped my attention the most early on was Rachmaninoff’s First Piano Concerto, in F# Minor. Concerti for full orchestra are an impossibly large ensemble to assemble without institutional support; however, I am aiming to create this opportunity myself and, as the final result to professionally record the Rachmaninoff Concerto no. 1, after years of careful study and with grassroots fundraising efforts.

One event in particular has really launched this project off of the ground. This past summer, my good friend and the owner of POPPLER’S MUSIC, Josh Gratton, agreed that once the CONCERTO Project makes it to the final stage, we will have the opportunity to perform and record on the YAMAHA CFX, the top 9-foot concert grand in the world. The value of this contribution is unmeasurable but is worth at least $10,000 in hand. With this contribution POPPLER’S has clearly shown their investment in local talent and opportunities to inspire future generations of classical musicians.

SPONSORSHIP.

THANK YOU for attending this program. It means the world to me that you are here to join me at the start of my journey.

SUBSCRIBING and SPREADING THE WORD is the most important way that this project will get off the ground. It is only by generating interest and buzz about my concerti and my passion for classical music that this project will get noticed and potentially performed by local symphonies.

You might be wondering if you can take your sponsorship of the project to the next level. This project is ambitious, and aims to be an inspiration for other young artists and talented musicians. Similar recording projects with full orchestra have cost upwards of $30,000, though I believe this recording project can be done for less with the support of local companies and orchestras.

For this purpose, several SPONSORSHIP TIERS have been created for anyone interested.

  • $25 “PRESALE” sponsorship: Receive a free digital download copy of the recording once it has been completed.

  • $50 “PRESALE” sponsorship: Receive a free hard-copy and digital download of the recording once it has been completed.

  • $100 “SUPERFAN” sponsorship: Receive free hard copy and digital downloads of the final product, and have your name listed as a sponsor on CDs and future programs of CONCERTO.
